Ghanaeducation.org Demands Action Against Richard Akorsah’s Publishing of our stories on GhanaWeb
Ghanaeducation.org, a leading source of educational news and resources in Ghana, has issued a stern warning to Richard Akorsah, a writer and blogger for Ghanaweb.com, for repeatedly plagiarising content from our website.
Despite repeated requests to cease and desist, Akorsah has continued to lift stories verbatim from Ghanaeducation.org and publish them on Ghanaweb.com without attribution.
Ghanaeducation.org is deeply concerned by Akorsah’s blatant disregard for copyright laws and the ethical standards of journalism. His actions not only undermine the integrity of Ghanaeducation.org’s work but also deprive the original authors of their rightful recognition and compensation.
The organization has taken decisive action to protect its intellectual property rights. An official complaint has been lodged with Ghanaweb.com, and Ghanaeducation.org is prepared to pursue legal action against Akorsah if he persists in his plagiarism.
While GhanaWeb has taken steps to pull down such stories, we are calling out Richard Akorsah to stop his acts now!
Ghanaeducation.org urges Akorsah to immediately cease his unauthorized reproduction of their content and to respect the copyright protections that govern all forms of creative expression. Plagiarism is a serious offense that damages the reputation of both the plagiarist and the source of the original work.
When we pick stories from other sources verbatim, we give backlink and credit to the source and demand that the same be done by anyone who deems it fit to pick stories from our site. Our copyright policies demand that you give a full backlink to the original source on oursite. Where you can not do this, you have pull the story down.

As a responsible media outlet, Ghanaweb.com has a duty to uphold ethical standards and prevent the publication of plagiarised content. The organization has started taken steps to ensure that Akorsah’s actions do not reflect poorly on the integrity of Ghanaweb.com as a whole.
Ghanaeducation.org remains committed to providing high-quality educational news and resources to the Ghanaian public. The organization will continue to defend its intellectual property rights and take all necessary steps to protect the integrity of its work.
