It will allow you to know how regularly the payments are made on your behalf, the months that have been deducted from your salary but have not been paid, and if the employer pays the correct deductions to SSNIT.

How to check your SSNIT statement online
You can check your SSNIT statement of account online and perform other functions from the SSNIT website via your cell phone, tablet, laptop, and desktop computer by using the following steps:
1. Visit www.ssnit.org.gh.
2. Click “SELF SERVICE.”
If you have not applied for the online checking SSNIT statement service before, consider the following steps as well before you proceed.
Step 1: To Sign Up (First-Timer)
- Under “Request for Portal ID,” select Member.
- Click “Sign up.”
- Complete the form.
- Refresh the page if you are unsure of the answer given (you have only three attempts).
- Click on ‘Sign Up’ after answering the question correctly.
- Check your email address for your Portal ID (username and password).
Just incase you cannot remember the email you used to register with SSNIT, you will have to go to any SSNIT office to update your email before you can register for the online SSNIT statement checking service.
Step 2: Log in to the self-service portal.
- Log in to https://portal.ssnit.org.gh.
- Enter your Portal ID (username and password sent to your email).
- Access your lobby.
- Select “Contribution” from the listed items on the menu to access your Statement of Account.
Once you have completed the above process, you will be able to log in and check SSNIT statement online
Please note that, after signing up, you don’t have to repeat step 1 on your next visit to the website.
