GENERAL ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC
It would be so nice of everyone to perform this heroic act when they come into contact with a missing Ghana Card since the stress of getting back a missing Ghana Card can be reduced through this effort.
The pain and stress that come with reapplying and waiting forever to get the card replaced can also be avoided.
The challenges of going to the police and writing a police statement to confirm your card is missing so as to get a statement or letter from the police before heading to the NIA police for the replacement can also be avoided.
However, if you want to do something like this (thus meeting the owner of the missing but found Ghana card to hand it over to him or her), arrange for a meeting in a public mall, in front of a police station, or in a public place. This advice is very important and advisable for the sake of your security. Do not forget to ask them to come along with another ID for identification before you hand over the Ghaha Card. Also, try your best to keep your Ghana cards safe to avoid all the stress.
