How to register for 2022 teacher licensure exams using our Step-By-Step Guide.
To register for the examination,
- Go to the official website or portal exams.ntc.gov.gh to commence the registratio

Buy and enter a valid e-voucher Serail number and Pin

Provide your valid details in the fields.

Upload your passport-size photograph. Ensure this image is clear and perfect becuase the NTC will not allow for changes to images uploaded after the examination.

Go through the details provided and ensure they are all accurate.

Ensure you have a copy of your proof of registration. Print a Summary of the inputs made.

Read the examination regulations and tick the tick box before submission.
Who is eligible to write the licensure examination?
The GTLE is to enable qualified teachers to acquire a professional licence and prepare teachers to meet the demands of the National Teachers’ Standards of possessing the minimum knowledge, skills, and values to deliver in schools.
Eligibility for the licensure examination
- All Prospective candidates who hold a Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), M.Ed and are desirous of becoming professional teachers.
The candidates are to apply online at exams.ntc.gov.gh and complete the application form for the licensure examination.
- All the above-mentioned candidates who completed in 2021 or before qualify to write the examination at a Centre of their choice.

Candidates who wrote the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination but were unsuccessful in some papers may register to re-sit.
Registration fees:
a) Fresh/News candidates GHȻ 350.00
b) Re-sitting candidates -One paper – GHȻ 150.00.
c) Re-sitting candidates – two (2) papers – GHȻ 210.00.
d) Re-sitting candidates – all three (3) – GHȻ 350.00.
How and where to buy E-voucher or pin code for registration
Qualified and interested teachers can buy the E-voucher or pin through the short code 77251# across all networks using Mobile money Payment or go to any branch of Prudential Bank Ltd nationwide.
Candidates are to remind the bank staff whether they are buying the voucher as fresh students, or re-sitting.
They must disclose whether they are resit one, two, or three papers as well.

When is the closing date for submission?
The closing date for online submission of completed registration is November 18, 2022.
All candidates must keep their Pin and Serial numbers secured after registration for the examination. These will be used after the examination.
