By the 4th of January 2022, the fun will be over and the reality will dawn on many of us.
How to survive January 2022 should engage your attention as you enjoy the festive season.
As we celebrate the birth of Christ and the New year, it is good to celebrate God’s love and the reason for the season who is Christ. Make the family happy in your small way and know thy self, your income, your monthly needs after the celebrations, and how you are going to fund them.
In all these celebrations, let the fun and excitement be great but remember not to engage in wasteful and avoidable spending. Do not be lost in the moment for January 2022 is gonna be tough.
Schools will reopen in January for the commencement of the new academic year which means parents will have to buy books and other educational materials for their wards who have been promoted to new classes. This used to be in September until the covid-19 hit us. Parents and guardians will have more expenses to make in January 2022 as far as education is concerned. This will add to the usual pressure of many homes in January.
In addition to this, to survive January 2022,  you will have to meet the basic family needs for the month and this is the time to start planning and saving towards that by not overspending on the festive season with your meager income in mind.
Enjoy yourselves but, spend wisely with January 2022 in mind because many families and friends would likely be in the same tough situation and no one will give you a loan to survive January.

How to survive January 2022 requires basic smart thinking and decision-making

  1. Do not empty your bank account for the festive season.
  2. Do not engage in impulse spending.
  3.  Keep an eye on the budget for the season and cut it down.
  4. Do not give anyone a loan expecting the money in January.
  5. Put aside funds for January’s basic needs and do not touch the funds for anything.
  6. Keep in mind that the new academic year starts in January as well (Feeding, Books, Uniforms, and Fees) for the first term are waiting for you.
