A sobolo seller has dropped some shocking details of what she did in the past. She revealed that she used to mix her menstruation blood with the sobolo she has been selling.

“I am from one of the very rural areas in this country. And I am also from one of the poorest homes in our village. Because of this, we were the least respected in that area. There was this time that I could not stand the contempt and disrespect that I ran away from our village into the city. But before I left, I took along with me, some raw materials for making sobolo. Actually, I stole them from another home. I hear my mother was punished for what I did. I did not regret it because I felt that I would get enough money to cover up for what I did.

” When I got into the city, I was homeless. But I used the raw materials I stole to make some pure traditional sobolo. I poured the sobolo into some disposed plastic bottles. I made a considerable amount of sales. Many people liked the undiluted nature of the sobolo. So I got a lot of regular customers. They also told me that they like the deep color of my sobolo as compared to the regular water-diluted sobolo that has been making rounds.

The truth is that the color I was getting was as a result of the use of the local pure raw materials. Later, these items were finished. And I used proceeds from my sales to buy new raw materials. However, I did not get the deep color anymore. I started losing customers. Out of desperation, I decided to use my menstruation blood to make the sobolo.

This is because, aside from the color I wanted to get, I saw how some people used menstrual blood to charm people and increase their sales. Yes, my business expanded. And I have a big store wholesaling and retailing sobolo but not with menstruation blood. I regret what I did”, she explained.
