JUST IN: WAEC Extends 2023 NovDec Registration Deadline Again

First Series 2025 WASSCE (PC) Starts Today 2024 WASSCE Results Are Canceled, Withheld, or Poor

The West African Examination Council(WAEC) has extended the 2023 NovDec registration deadline for the third time. The new deadline for registration is Saturday, 28th October, 2023.

 

The first registration deadline was on 27th July, 2023. WAEC extended this date to 15th September, 2023. It was later extended to 29th September, 2023 and currently to 28th October, 2023.

Meanwhile, according to the 2023 WASSCE (private candidates) timetable, the starting date of the exams is on 27th October, 2023. The last paper will be written on 20th December, 2023.

However, according to WAEC, all candidates who are now registering for the exams are to choose the regional capitals as their examination centers.

Below is the official fees structure for the 2023 NOVDEC.

6 or more subjects – GH¢742.33
5 subjects – GH¢708.42
4 subjects – GH¢672.56
3 subjects – GH¢632.25
2 subjects – GH¢607.58
1 subject – GH¢582.94

GH¢70.00 per subject for Practical Test

GH¢70.00 per subject for Project Work

GH¢70.00 per subject for Project Work

GH¢60.00 per subject for Oral (English, Arabic, and French)

HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE 2023 NOVDEC

  1. Candidates are required to scan their fingerprints. This can be done in a local internet cafe
  2. Visit the NOVDEC registration website(waecgh.org) using a web browser, preferably Google Chrome
  3. Choose the WASSCE for Private Candidates option
  4. Click on START REGISTRATION HERE
  5. Complete required security information data like password, security questions, etc.
  6. Fill in your personal information
  7. Upload your picture
  8. Get your signature and upload it online
  9. Select your preferred Region and Centre for the examination
  10. Select the subject(s) you intend to write
  11. Print your voucher and send it to any of the official banks for NOVDEC registration payments.
  12. Pay the appropriate fees at the bank
  13. You will use your PIN/Invoice Number to access your Index Number and Admission.

Note:

  • The scanned photograph have dimensions of 160px (width) and 200px (height)
  • The scanned signature should have dimensions of 250px (width) and 150px (height)
  • On completion of the Registration, Click on the Preview Button to review your form
  • Click on the Submit button, the system will complete the
  • Registration process and generate an Invoice showing amount due
  • You are required to print this invoice and take it to the bank for payment.
