KNUST New Admission Closing Date and Scam Warning for WASSCE Graduates Released
The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has released the new KNUST admission closing date and scam warning for WASSCE graduates.
In a blog post by the university, which was sighted by your reliable source, Ghana Education News, KNUST indicated that it will close its admission portal to the general public at the end of the day on December 22, 2023.
KNUST New Admission Scam Warning and Alert
The university also released its admission scam warning and alert for applicants. It stated that applicants who seek help from unofficial persons and groups to gain admission into the university do so at their own peril. It added that such efforts aimed at influencing or gaining admission to the university will be at the risk of the applicant.
ANY APPLICANT WHO MAKES ANY FORM OF SOLICITATION TO ANY PERSON OR GROUP OF PERSONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF INFLUENCING AND/OR GAINING ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY DOES SO AT HIS OR HER OWN RISK. The statement stated:
Students who started their admission process ahead of the WASSCE are advised to visit the school’s admission portal at app.knust.edu.gh/admissions to carry out the following:.
- Confirm the accuracy of the information provided. Information to check includes the full name in the correct order (first name), middle name, and last name or surname.
- Date of birth
- Examination description (index number, exam type, exam month, and exam year)
- Review the programmes chosen in connection with their respective cut-off points.

Remember that the closing date for submission and completion of all admission forms for applicants is Friday, December 22, 2023.
