Meet “ROCKSTAR” Benjamin Aniagyei The 3.9 CGPA UEW Valedictorian

Benjamin Aniagyei, a member of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) 2025 graduating class, has emerged as a rare valedictorian with a stunning 3.9 CGPA. His academic success has not surprised his lecturers and colleagues in the university’s immediate environment. However, the same academic success has made many jaws drop among those who did not know the fertility of his brain.
He pursued the B.Ed Information Technology at UCC (3-Semester Sandwich) at the university, which earned him the bragging rights. Benjamin Aniagyei aced a CGPA of 3.9 to emerge as the valedictorian during the 14th session of the 57th Congregation of the University.
Clearly, Benjamin Aniagyei entered theuniversity with an aim from the first semester. He kept his focus and ensured that he achieved a success worth the effort.
It is hoped that this academic success will inspire his learners, colleagues and students who are still pursuing their degree programmes at the University of Education, Winneba, to work hard and achieve similar goals. All students of UEW must work hard just as Benjamin Aniagye did because he walked the same campus and used the same lecture halls to achieved this great success. All university students must be challenged by this feat.

Who is Benjamin Aniagyei?
Benjamin Aniagyei is the 2025 University of Education Winneba (UEW) valedictorian. He was born on 7th June, 1994. He hails from Breman Bedum in the Central Region. His basic education kickstarted at Ashaiman No. 3 JHS, in Accra, Ghana. After a successful BECE, he gained admission into Forces Senior Technical School Burma Camp, Accra.
He is a staff member at Wataniya JHS in the Savelugu District, Northern Region and a devout member of The Church of Pentecost, Savelugu District-Tamale Area. He enjoys football and is a staunch supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Manchester United. His role model is Prof. Opoku Amankwa, a former Director General of the Ghana Education Service.
