Ghana’s best Corruption Perception Index performance was achieved in 2014 John Mahama - Post See new posts Conversation: SammyGyamf writes Teacher Licensure Exams

Did you know that Ghana’s best Corruption Perception Index performance was achieved in the year 2014, under the leadership of H.E

@JDMahama – John Dramani Mahama When did the country attain its highest CPI score: a score of 48?

Did you know that Ghana’s worst Corruption Perception Index performance in the last decade was recorded in the year 2017 under the supervision of corrupt

@NAkufoAddo

and Bawumia, when the country attained its lowest CPI score; a score of 40?

Did you know that

@JDMahama worst Corruption Perception Index performance, was a score of 43, recorded in the year 2016. And that, this score remains Akufo-Addo and Bawumia’s best score under the CPI of Transparency International?

It is glaringly clear, from Ghana’s performance under the CPI in the last seven (7) years, that the fight against corruption has been lost by the corrupt and wasteful Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/NPP government, who have institutionalized corruption and made it a thriving free for all venture. Never in the history of Ghana has any government enabled, facilitated, promoted and defended corruption like this government has done.

From the BOSTGATE scandal to the PDS scandal, to the PPA Contracts for Sale scandal, to the “Galamsey” fraud scandal, to the Ameri Novation scandal, to the missing excavators scandal, to the missing fertilizers scandal, to the missing oil scandal, to the missing tricycles scandal, to the Sputnik V Vaccine scandal, to the COVID-19 funds “chop chop” scandal, to the Number 12 scandal, to the Appearance Fee scandal, to the Gold Mafia scandal, to the stolen rice scandal, to the latest stinky SML scandal; Jack Toronto and his younger brother and Mentee, have facilitated, perpetrated and promoted corruption, leading to unprecedented financial losses to the state.

Instead of protecting the public purse as they promised in opposition, they have brazenly desecrated the public purse, wasted meager states resources on useless ventures and shielded co-perpetrators of corruption from accountability.

Instead of fighting corruption, they have turned around to fight corruption fighters with the might of the state, leading to the murder of an anti-corruption investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale, the unlawful ousting of the former Auditor General, Mr. Yao Domelevo, the resignation of the former Special Prosecutor, Martin A.B.K Amidu and the oppression of several journalists and critical voices.

Remember, that a vote for Bawumia is a third term vote for corrupt Akufo-Addo and his greedy cabal of family and friends.

Don’t let your vote, aid them to escape from accountability. Rather let your vote, aid the state to hold them accountable.

A vote for H.E John Dramani Mahama (The Nation Builder) is the only way, we can hold these crooks accountable for the several crimes they have committed against our beloved nation.

GWR: The “World’s Most Expensive Pit”, Valued at US$450 Million is in Ghana

GWR The world’s most expensive pit valued at US$450 million is in Ghana

Ghana could go into the Guinness World Record (GWR) as the country with the world’s most expensive pit, valued at US$450 million, ever dug in the history of mankind.

Wondering how this happened and why this is the world’s most expensive pit?

The President of Ghana took steps to honour a promise he solely made to God. The promise was to build for God a national cathedral where Ghana would lift his name on high for his great hand that has been upon the nation.

But as faith will have it, the national cathedral, which has yet to leave itself off the ground and still remains a dug pit, has already cost the Ghanaian taxpayer a whopping US$ 450 million.

Based on the exchange rate of 12 Ghanaian cedis (GHS) per US dollar, US$450 million would be equal to 5,400,000,000 Ghanaian cedis (GHS). The project has remained one of the most controversial in the history of Ghana’s politics, relating to faith and religion.

Several men of God who were put on the committee for the project have resigned from the committee due to a lack of transparency, accountability, and other issues that go contrary to their faith, convictions, and beliefs.

New drone video footage shared on Twitter by Hon. Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa showed that the world’s most expensive pit, valued at US$450 million, was still intact.

The video footage was taken to shed light on the information-making rounds that work has begun on the national cathedral, which has become a white elephant.

The latest drone footage captured a few minutes ago by SOA Oversight confirms that the world’s most expensive pit remains abandoned.”

While Ghana waits to sink more difficult to come by dollars into a project many Ghanaians have described as less important in solving the worrying problems of unemployment, high cost of living, increasing and countless taxes that are suffocating the ordinary people, mismanagement, and corruption, the Guinness World Record (GWR) can at least honour Ghana with the world’s most expensive pit record.

The member of Parliament further questioned why the government has not retrieved GHS 339 million of taxpayer funds from David Adjaye, Cary Summers, Victor Kusi Boateng, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, and others.

Dorcas and Suka are said to have nabbed Gh.203,000 from 32 potential applicants, who were interested in joining the security forces.

The accused, who have been jointly charged with conspiracy to commit crimes, have denied the charges.

The chief superintendent of police, Augustine Yirenkyi, revealed that the complainant, Alex Mensah Twumasi, was a member of the assembly for Accra Newtown, and Dorcas was unemployed, hailing from Gbawe, Accra.

The prosecution claims that Docas told the complainant that she had ‘protocol connections’ at the Jubilee House.

Docas asked the complainant to give her GH203,000 to secure 32 potential applicants for recruitment into any of the security services – the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Immigration Service, the Ghana Customs and the Ghana National Fire Service.

GH203,000 was paid by the complainant to Dorcas, but she was unable to fulfill her promise and played hide and seek with the complainant, according to the prosecution.

The chief insp Yirenkyi said the complainant contacted the authorities, and Dorcas was taken into custody.

The court heard that Dorcas, in a cautionary statement, acknowledged receiving GH203,000 to secure a position in the various security services for potential applicants, and that she (Dorcas) gave the money to Suka (now fugitive).
