UG, UCC basic schools closed down indefinitely – Full updates
Two basic schools closed down indefinitely by the managers. These are the University of Ghana, Legon (UG) and the University of Cape Coast (UCC)basic schools.
The closure of the schools is due to the nationwide strike by senior staff’s of the universities.
nationwide strike action has directed the closure of their basic schools in the country.
UCC and UG Management in a letter sighted told stakeholders that the two university-owned basic schools will not operate effective Monday, January 25, 2021, will be shut down until further notice
“It is very unfortunate to inform you of a postponement of in our reopening date scheduled for 25th January 2021. A new date of resumption will be communicated to you later.”
“All sections of the University Basic Schools (KG, Primary, JHS and North Campus) will be closed from Monday, 25th January 2021 until further notice”, the Legon Management stated in the letter.
