KNUST Pro Vice-Chancellor makes donation of $10,000 To GReF

Professor Ellis Owusu-Dabo, the Pro Vice-Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi, has made a significant donation to the university’s graduate research community by donating $10,000 to the Graduate Research Enhancement Fund (GReF).

This donation was presented to the President of the Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) at KNUST, Mr. Felix Adusei, on April 10, 2024, fulfilling a commitment made during the fund’s inauguration.

The GReF is designed to enhance research efforts among graduate students at KNUST.

It incorporates the GRASAG Research Support Hub and the GRASAG Research Support Grant, initiatives that provide not only financial backing but also mentorship and technical advice to graduate researchers.

This strategic support is crucial in nurturing the research capabilities of students and aligns with KNUST’s mission as a leading research institution.

During the presentation, Professor Owusu-Dabo expressed his endorsement of the GReF, acknowledging its potential to significantly bolster the university’s research output.
