The management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) ahead of the administration has urged 2022 licensure exam candidates to be appropriately seated 30 minutes before the start of the national examination for teachers.

In a communique sighted by EducationWeb, the Council said candidates who will participate in the 8th Ghana teacher licensure test in the 2022 academic year after identification by means of their ID cards or print-outs and body search.

“All candidates should be appropriately seated 30 minutes before the start of the examination after identification by means of ID Cards or print-out and body search,” the NTC said in the memo to 2022 licensure exam candidates.

After postponing the conduct of the first phase of this year’s licensure examination early slated for May to June, the management of NTC from Monday, June 13, 2022, to Tuesday, June 14, 2022, will conduct the teachers’ examination.

Explaining the postponement, the National Council was due to the scheduled end-of-semester examination in the public Colleges of Education resulting in the unavailability of some centres for the conduct of the 8th GTLE.
