3. Former world heavy weight boxing champion and mayor of Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital also decided to join the war. Vitali Kitschko who is a millionaire and could have fled with a private jet to live a happy life decided to risk the ultimate, his life, to fight the Russian war.

4. A former Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko is also on the battlefield along his country’s army. The former president who was seen in war zone delivering a speech on TRT world said ‘this is our soil, this our country, this is our people and Putin has nothing to do here, get out of Ukraine, Mr. Putin’.

5. The current Ukrainian president himself is deeply involved in the front lines of the war. Volodymyr Zelenskyy reportedly told western nations and US allies that he needed a ammunition and not a ride when he was advised to leave the country. The president himself claimed Russians have declared him enemy number 1.

6. A mysterious pilot named the ‘ghost of Kyiv’ by residents of the city arguably may be the one who changed the dynamics of the the Russian charge on the capital, Kyiv. This particular show of ability and skills could be what frustrated the Russian siege of Kyiv in an attempt to capture or topple Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s goverment
