Taking personal responsibility for this high-profile case, Commissioner Owohunwa led the team to the burial site, where they began the delicate process of exhuming the late artist’s body. In a further display of commitment to transparency and justice, Commissioner Owohunwa also planned to visit Mohbad’s grieving father at his residence in Ikorodu. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, affirmed the ongoing exhumation process in a phone conversation with our correspondent on Thursday. “The exhumation is currently underway, with a team of health officials from the state ministry of health working in conjunction with CP Owohunwa,” he disclosed. He also confirmed that Commissioner Owohunwa’s visit to Mohbad’s father was scheduled for later in the day.
