Presbyterian University Matriculates Fresh Students. The University recently hosted its 21st matriculation ceremony to welcome new students to the university.
A total of 1,042 freshmen were admitted into various faculties at the Akuapem and Tema campuses. During the event at the Tema campus, Vice-Chancellor Professor John Ofosu-Anim emphasized that this marked the beginning of a transformative journey for each student, as they were now part of a community of scholars, thinkers, and visionaries.
Professor Ofosu-Anim encouraged the students to embrace the responsibilities and opportunities that come with being part of the PUG academic family. He described matriculation as a symbolic rite of passage signifying their official entry into the academic life of the university, highlighting their commitment to learning, growth, and the pursuit of knowledge.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the students were now part of a community that values curiosity, critical thinking, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. Professor Ofosu-Anim urged the students to carry forward the torch of curiosity as they embark on their academic journey at the institution.
