While the 2024 job placement year deadline was May 31, 2024, applicants who qualify for the next recruitment phase will be required to write a 20- to 30-minute online examination. The date for the said examination will often be announced via an SMS alert to short-listed applicants.
How to Check Ghana Civil Service Recruitment Application Status
However, you can check the status of your application at any time by following the procedure.
Step 1: Go to the page for checking the application status here: https://www.ohcs.gov.gh
Step 2: Upon visiting the page, enter your valid phone number for the application.
Step 3: Enter the application number provided to you during the application period.
Step 4: Click on the Yellow Button with the inscription [Log In To Continue]
By following this process, you will be able to tell if you have qualified for the next phase of the process, if the information you are looking for is pending, or if you have not been shortlisted.
If the above procedure does not work for you, consider the option below.

Often, applicants are updated via SMS alerts to keep them aware of the status of their application. Often, no SMS is sent to unsuccessful applicants. If you are no longer receiving SMS alerts from the outfit, it often means you have not been successful at the next stage of your application process.
