NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 2 Today – Prempeh College To Win (LIVE)

NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 2 Today - Prempeh College To Win (LIVE)

The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2023 Semi-Final Contest 2 will be held today October 19, in the afternoon. At stake is a spot in the finals of the competition. Five-time winners Prempeh College have vowed to bring heaven down to win their sixth title.

The five-time winners are hoping to meet Presec Legon in the finals and cause Presec the kind of pain they caused them in 2022. A win for Prempeh College will be a chance to redeem their image and close the gap of Presec who have won the trophy seven times already.

Today’s semi-final contest is going to be a tough one for all schools.

The competing schools for the second spot in the finals are Opoku Ware School, Pope John SHS & Min. Sem and Prempeh College.

This contest is not going to be a walkover for any school.  While Prempeh College looks like a traditional favourate to win it, the two other schools, Opoku Ware School and Pope John SHS & Min have everything it takes to win it.

The likes of Stephen Baah, the Form 1 student unleashed by Opoku Ware School in the quarters can be torn in the flesh of the other schools if he finds his true elements in the Semis.

If Opoku Ware School can make good use of Stephen Baah, they can cause an upset in the Semis and send  Pope John SHS & Min. Sem and Prempeh College parking out of the competition.

Achimota SHS Grabs Grand Final Spot in NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1

NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 Today - Schools and Prediction (LIVE)

The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 was held today October 19. Achimota SHS won the contest with a final score of 41 points

Today’s semi-final contest was predicted to be a tough one for all schools. Primetime, the brain behind this competition, which is marking three years of existence, expects nothing but fireworks. In a post to usher us all into the semi-finals mood, the NSMQ tweeted, “We are here again! Here to witness the best contests ever! To some, it will be history. To some, nothing else will matter. Whatever it is, we will be here! One quiz and a dream!”

The competing schools for the first spot in the finals are Wesley Girls High School, Achimota School, and St. Louis SHS. This contest promises to be an agenda for the all-girls schools as two of such schools, Wesley Girls High School and St. Louis SHS come face to face will Achimota.

Has an all-girls School Ever Won The NSMQ before?

In the 30 years of the NSMQ, no girl’s school has ever won the competition. It is hoped that the two girls’ schools will force Achimota out of the contest early enough and battle it all out for the single spot in the finals.

St. Louis SHS have been giant killers in this edition of the quiz and have dispatched Adisco and overconfident Ashanti Regional NSMQ champions. However, their magic was cut off by Achimota who took an early lead in round one and continued through the contest.

We shall soon broadcast the live contest here as soon as it commences. We predicted a win for  St. Louis SHS in the NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 but Achimota School had other ideas.

NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 Today – Prediction

St. Louis SHS was tipped by our NSMQ pundits to make it into the finals of the contest after fierce competition if Philipa Afiryie Ennuson and Faizatu Mbo Abu Safianu have a good day and prove to be a great pair of quality and well-composed brains. This was never to be.

One reason why St. Louis SHS will win the NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 today is because they have a strong team. St. Louis SHS has a team of experienced and talented students who have been preparing for the NSMQ for months. The team is well-rounded and has a strong knowledge of all the subjects that are covered in the competition.

In addition to these reasons, St. Louis SHS is also a very well-run school with a strong academic culture. The students (contestants) are motivated to succeed, and the teachers are highly qualified and experienced.

Today, Achimota School proved its worth. Achimota will be hoping to win their third competition in 2023 when they lock horns with other schools in the grand final on Auguts 24th.

Of course, there is no guarantee that St. Louis SHS will win the NSMQ 2023 Semi-Final Contest 1 so easily. The competition is always fierce, and Achimota SHS won the contest. It was a well-deserved win.
