Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, The Minister of Education has hinted that, the Ghana Education Service (GES) teachers upgrade letters would be released soon.
The release would see the promotion or upgrade of qualified teachers due for promotion who have met all the requirements.
This was made public when the Minister of Education granted an interview monitored by this portal. He said though the process to upgrade and promote teachers has delayed, the GES was working tirelessly to release the teachers upgrade letter as soon as possible.
“The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has promised me they will this year release the promotion and upgrade letters to qualified teachers soon,” the Education Minister stated.
He added that the portal will be made accessible to qualified teachers who have not been promoted so that, they can submit their credentials for the GES to take action.
“So, for past and present teacher upgrade and promotion, the Ghana Education Service (GES), this year is working tirelessly on it to ensure teachers due for promotion and upgrade are satisfied,” the minister said

A decent amount of salary would be paid teachers who are promoted or upgraded he hinted.
