Members of the general public, have, therefore, been advised to observe the aforementioned day as a public holiday throughout the country.
The Christmas festivities are always moments of joy and are often celebrated on public holidays. The 2022 festivities will not be different, however, Ghanaians are not likely to enjoy so many working days as public Holidays in December 2022.
This is because this year Christmas falls on Sunday, 25th December. Often when a Holiday falls on a weekend, the next working day is a Holiday. Unfortunately, the next day which is 26th December is also a Holiday. However, 25th December will have a working day as a holiday since the government decided to be generous and declared 27th December as a Public Holiday.
