The Verification of school choices begins for 2022 BECE graduates per the latest directive from the GES which was contained in a press release

All JHS Students who sat for the 2022 BECE and are awaiting results and School Placement into SHS, parents/guardians and the general public are to take note of the process for verifying the school choices.

The Verification of school choices begins for 2022 BECE graduates when done will help the graduates and their parents to know if the schools they selected are the once captured in the date base of the Ghana Education Service and its stakeholders. The schools captured for a candidate in the date base will be the ones from which the candidate will be placed.

The Verification of school choices for 2022 BECE graduates is not meant for changing schools.

The verification will also help students school choices to be confirmed ahead of placement.

According to the GES, parents and or guardians will receive SMS messages from the CSSPS, which contains the web portal https://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number *899*88# with a four-digit token number. These details will have to be used by the recipient to access their data in the database of the GES regarding the school choices captured for them.

Verification of school choices for 2022 BECE graduates starts on 14th January 2023 and ends on 22nd January 2023.

In case of any discrepancies or difference in the data captured, and the schools actually selected for the student, parents and guardians are to contact the GES on 0556541525 or click on the edit button available on the web portal after their selection details displayed with the copy of the original selection form.
