The long wait for the WASSCE 2025 Results Release by WAEC in nearly over. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) is expected to release the results of school candidates who sat the exam in August this year.

What is the projected date for the release of the WASSCE 2025 Results? In our earlier news item on this, we indicated that the results will be released on or before 15th November, 2025. If the results are delayed, it will not go beyond 21st November, 2025. This means all candidates must be getting ready to check their results in the coming days/weeks.

There are good reasons why the results for 2025 WASSCE will be released in November.

Government does not owe WAEC for the exam hence WAEC hit the road running with marking.
Marking is over and results are in however, WAEC is dealing with malpractice issues.
WAEC only directs candidates to check their exam malpractices status when it is done with marking. This same method was used for the first time during the 2025 BECE results release period.

WASSCE Grading System Use By WAEC

Students who sat the exam should keep in mind that, their grades would be based on the grading system below. Students who secure grades from C6 to F9 have less chance of gaining admission into tertiary institutions in and outside Ghana.

75% – 100% (A1): Excellent
70% – 74% (B2): Very Good
65% – 69% (B3): Good
60% – 64% (C4): Credit
55% – 59% (C5): Credit
50% – 54% (C6): Credit
45% – 49% (D7): Pass
40% – 44% (E8): Pass
0% – 39% (F9): Fail
