NPP Flag bearer hopeful, Dr. Afriyie Akoto has revealed how a lady broke her heart years ago. Adding that if you are young man and you haven’t gone through heartbreak, you are still not matured.
In an interview with Bola Ray on Star FM, Afriyie Akoto was asked to speak a little bit about his heartbreak experience. Afriyie Akoto revealed that he has had a heartbreak before. He added that it is normal for a man to suffer heartbreak because it is part of the maturity process for an individual.
He went ahead and revealed that men usually go through such treatment and men who haven’t passed through that are not matured.

Dr. Afriyie Akoto: Everybody goes through that, don’t tell me you didn’t.
Bola Ray: How did you take that?
Dr. Afriyie Akoto: Well, very hard.
Bola Ray: Is the lady still around?
Dr. Akoto Afriyie: This happened many years ago so I’ve moved on.
Bola Ray: So what would you tell young men going through this phase?
Dr. Akoto Afriyie: They shouldn’t worry it’s part of life. If you don’t go through those kinds of experiences then it means you’re still not mature” he said
Afriyie Akoto will be contesting for the flag bearer position of the New Patriotic Party. The election is slated for 4th November, 2023.

Over 200,000 NPP delegates will cast their ballots on November 4th to elect a Presidential Candidate for the 2024 election. Four persons vying for the presidential slot include the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, MP for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, former MP for Mampong Francis Addai-Nimoh, and former Agric Minister, Dr Owusu Akoto Afriyie.
Many have picked Kennedy Agyapong and the Vice president of the Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as the favorites for the elections.
