Young Executive School marks graduation day, awards five best teachers with a plot of land each

Young Executive School, one of the fastest-growing teacher and learner-concerned schools in Ghana has awarded the five best teachers with a plot of land each.
This gesture is rare in private schools, most of which are only interested in overusing teachers paying them peanuts, and ignoring the toil and sacrifices of their employees. Other teachers were also presented with refrigerators.
The award formed part of the 2022 graduation ceremony of the Young Executive School.
The Director of Young Executive School at Kasoa Opeikuma, Francis Essel-Okyeahene also called on parents to monitor and control the way their wards use mobile phones.
In the wake of the use of mobile phones and its benefits and dangers for students are glaring if they are not monitored, hence parents were advised to monitor children’s use of phones. The call was part of efforts towards preventing the abuse of mobile devices among learners.
He attributed some of the current social vices going on in the country to mobile phones and children who started mobile phones without parental control at a very tender age.
He furthered that when children are not guided during the usage of phones, they visited certain sites unguided.
According to him, a lot of children used their phones to download unnecessary things while others were using the Internet to watch criminal activities, and if care was not taken it would have devastating effects on the society at large.
Mr Essel-Okyeahene, therefore, entreated parents to monitor what their children used their phones for and compel them to make good use of social media. Mr Essel Okyeahene disclosed this when he awarded five best teachers with a plot of land each.
Mr Essel-Okyeahene, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Onua Francis International School, noted that children were the future leaders and needed to be guided to develop into responsible adults.
