Reports indicate many students are yet to receive their Index Numbers to their respective examination check centres where they will be writing the exam.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has instructed candidates who are yet to receive details about their centres to check for the centres online using their invoice numbers.

This directive came from The Head of Private Examinations, Mrs Veronica Asante in an interview monitored by GhanaEducation.Org on November 19, 2020.

The invoice number was issued to all candidates who registered for the private examination when they made payment at the designated banks.

Mrs Veronica Asante disclosed that all candidates have to do was to visit the website site of WAEC to check their admission/exams notice and centres.

“Similarly, candidates with index number can also check for this admission notice or examination centres”, She told host of the interview.

“Admission notice is ready, every candidate should check, there is no way a candidate will say I don’t know the centre I will write my exams”, the WAEC staff added.
