While the National Teaching Council (NTC) is working to ensuring a smooth teacher licensing process, teachers also need to understand and know important facts about the registration to ensure the exercise is smooth and friendly.
Some frequently asked questions by teachers have surfaced after a section of teachers in the Greater Accra Region failed to get to their respective centres for their teaching license.

1. What will cause my delay at the licensing centre?:
A delay occurs at the licensing centre if you did not receive your registered number going to the centre.
2. What will cause a delay in getting my registered number?:
According to the NTC, this is caused by the following:
a. If a teacher fails to register at the Teacher portal Ghana (TPG),
b. Failure to upload your professional certificate
c. Failure to upload your first appointment letter
d. Failure to upload the gazette or affidavit after changing your name on the portal.
e. If a qualified teacher fails to fill in all required spaces on the portal during registration.
f. If the teacher after registering does not click save.
g. Failure to attend queries from NTC, usually sent to you by SMS or email
