2021 WASSCE results out, 3,667 results withheld by WAEC over malpractice.
WAEC withholds 3,667 results over 2021 WASSCE malpractice. A total of 3,667 results of candidates who sat for the just-ended international have been withheld pending the conclusion of an investigation into the WASSCE malpractice, the West African Exams announced on Wednesday.
WAEC in a release copied to EducationWeb.com.gh also said 1,339 subject results and 174 entire results have been cancelled for various exams malpractice such as bringing foreign material including mobile phones to the examination.
It also disclosed scripts of candidates from 194 schools in a certain subject have been withheld and are being scrutinized. The withheld results it said will be cancelled or released based on the outcome of the investigation.
According to the non-profit-making organization (WAEC), the decision to withhold and cancel some or the entire subject results of candidates follows approval by the Ghana Examination Committee (EC) on October 2021.
The Management of the Examinations Council has urged candidates to check their 2021 WAEC results at the WAEC results checking portal https://eresults.waecgh.org/ or at https://ghana.waecdirect.org/ only.
Started on Monday, August 16, 2021, a total of 446,321 candidates from 965 schools (651 public schools and 314 private schools) sat for the 2021 edition of the WASSCE for School at 763 examination centres across the country.

1. Purchase a result checker pin from WAEC by dialling the short code *944# on your mobile phone
2. Visit the result checking portal at https://eresults.waecgh.org
3. Enter your Index Number
4. Re-enter your Index Number to confirm it is correct.
5. Select Examination type (e.g WASSCE School)
6. Select the year of Examination (e.g 2021)
7. Enter Serial number (e.g 180000000001)
8. Enter Pin (e.g A1B2C3D4E5F9)
9. Click on the captcha
10. Click on Submit and wait for the popup window to display your results. This may take some minutes but please wait.

The West African Council has encouraged the general public particularly candidates with difficulties in checking the 2021 WASSCE results to send an email to WaecghanaSupport@fleettechltd.com for immediate support.
