2023 Active Scholarship Schemes For KNUST Freshers And Continuing Students – Apply Now
There are several active scholarship schemes at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for both freshers and continuing students. One can apply to any of the available scholarship schemes below.
1. Call for Applications for Educational Fondazione Scholarship for the 2022/2023 Academic Year
Educational Fondazione in Collaboration with KNUST is offering scholarships to Brilliant but Needy Students of the University in order to help them pursue their education successfully.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is open to only First (1st) year students of the University, pursuing a full-time programme.
All applicants must be Regular Ghanaian students.
Applicants should not be a beneficiary of another Scholarship scheme at the time of application.
Requirements
All Applicants are to include the following documents;
- Admission Letter
- Acceptance Letter
- WASSCE Certificate
- High School Transcripts or All Terminal Reports
- Recommendation Letters or Testimonial
- Awards and Certificates (If Any)
- All Applicants should provide proof of need.

- All documents must be in a sealed envelope with the Applicant’s name, reference number, programme and phone number boldly written on it.
- Submission of documents should be done at the Students Support and Financial Services Office (Room 19) at the Directorate of Student Affairs, J Harper Building.
- Any write-up should be typed in the font Times New Roman, size 12 and double-spaced.
- No Application will be accepted after the deadline. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview.

Hulede Foundation is a foundation that offers a one-year academic fees Scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them to pursue their University Education at KNUST.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is open to all Ghanaian students in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and final years who are pursuing a full-time programme.
Requirements
The minimum grade for prospective continuing students must be at least Second Class Upper. First-year applicants should have a WASSCE result /aggregate of at least Fifteen (15). Students with an aggregate of 16 must justify why they should be considered for the scholarship.
All prospective applicants are to include the following documents in their applications:
- Admission Letter
- Acceptance Letter
- WASSCE Certificate
- Detailed Proof of financial need
- Recommendation letters and other awards or certificates (if any).
- Continuing student applicants should also add their complete University Academic Transcripts, (including current – Second Semester results).
Beneficiaries are eligible to apply, they would justify why they should benefit from the scholarship for a second time and will prove their community services engagement.

3. Call for Applications for Educational Pathways International Scholarships for the 2022/2023 Academic Year
Educational Pathways International is a foundation that offers a Four-year Scholarship to Brilliant but Needy Students to enable them to pursue their University Education in their respective Countries.
Eligibility
The Scholarship is open to all Ghanaian students in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years, who are Brilliant but Needy Students of KNUST and are pursuing a full-time programme.
Requirements
The minimum grade for prospective continuing student applicants must be at least a Second Class Upper. First year applicants should have a WASSCE result /aggregate of at least Nine (9).
All prospective applicants are to include the following documents in their applications:
- Admission Letter
- Acceptance Letter
- WASSCE Certificate
- High School Transcripts or all Terminal Reports.
- Recommendation letters and other awards or Certificates (if any).
- Continuing student applicants should also add their complete University Academic Transcripts, (including current – Second Semester results).
CONTINUING STUDENTS who are beneficiaries of other scholarships are not eligible to apply.
