2023 BECE and WASSCE Home Mock: Update for new examiners, students and parents

As part of efforts to ensure improved services and success of candidates in 2023, Ghana Education News is collecting basic data on 2023 BECE and 2023 WASSCE Home Mock Examinations.

The Ghana Education News BECE and WASSCE Home Mock is a novel examination introduced by this portal in 2022 which helped so examine candidates from their homes is a novel way. The piloted exam in 2022 for BECE candidates nationwide saw nearly 1000 candidates taking part in the 5 mocks organized.

For the 2023 academic year. The Home Mock will be administered for both BECE and WASSCE candidates across the country.

We are therefore collecting data on parents and candidates who are interested in our very standard home mock, which we have no doubt will help candidates who take it pass their examination easily.

In 2023, our Home Mock will be extended from the four core subjects to 6 subjects with the introduction of RME and ICT in addition to Mathematics, English Language, Mathematics and Social Studies.

For WASSCE candidates, the main focus will be on Core Subjects (Mathematics, English Language, Mathematics and Social Studies) and Elective Mathematics.

We also have a new package for schools that want to take our mock in their schools. We shall provide the questions and marking schemes in soft copies at moderate prices to help them prepare their candidates for the mock. However these questions will be different from those administered to Home mock candidates.

2023 BECE and WASSCE Home Mock: EXAMINERS FOR 2023 HOME MOCKS

Examiners will be required to mark scripts sent in pdf format digitally and generate candidates score and grade for entry onto our online examination portal. This will come along with a brief report on the candidate for each paper marked.

Our Mocks are administered every month and by experienced subject teachers and WAEC examiners.

Our results are hosted on our website so that you can access it from anywhere

We give you an examiner’s report on your ward’s performance, strength and weaknesses.

We offer suggestions or recommendations for improvement, which when followed leads to gradual improvement in candidate’s performance.

Furthermore, we provide our candidates results and chief examiners reports for each subject.

Candidates also get the full marking schemes for each subject taken.
