GES has officially released the date for the 2023 school selection into Senior High schools. The official date for the guidelines for the school selection is Friday 18th August 2023. Here are a list of confirmed category A schools in the Eastern Region.
Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) also disclosed that the school selection process is scheduled to begin from 23rd August to 4th September 2023.

To ensure a smooth and successful placement this year, management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has advised parents and guardians to take a very good interest in this process for their wards.
Before the actual and confirmed process would be done, candidates will be given a USSD/Short code to text their placements to. This is being done for final verification as some headteachers and teachers out of their own will choose schools for students without the consent of the parents and the student.
