GES Updates Teachers on Graduate Recruitment Status

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reacted to a graduate teachers’ recruitment status letter circulating. The GES drew attention to the letter directed at graduates and diploma holders awaiting postings on the Ghana Education Service (GES) Facebook page.

The letter has been circulating on social media claiming that applicants need to submit their forms via a WhatsApp number to a “Help Desk” to secure their placement or follow up on their status. “All graduates and diploma holders who successfully applied for the recent Ghana Education Service (GES) recruitment are advised to submit their application forms to the GES Help Desk …” the letter stated.

According to the GES, the said letter is fake and should be disregarded.

NOTICE TO THE GRADUATE RECRUITMENT APPLICANTS

All graduates and diploma holders who successfully applied for the recent Ghana Education Service (GES) recruitment are advised to submit their application forms to the GES Help Desk via WhatsApp on 050318[XXXX] for a follow-up on their recruitment status.

Please note that relying solely on automatic recruitment may not be effective due to limited clearance. We currently have a limited number of slots available, with the possibility of securing placement in your preferred region. Applicants are therefore encouraged to act promptly to enhance their chances of consideration.

Additionally, individuals who were unable to complete their application on the portal are encouraged to contact the Help Desk for assistance.
