The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has released fresh details on the 2024/2025 admissions for the Medical and Dental Schools applicants. The school has given details on their upcoming entrance exam & interview as well as fees for the examination.
The 2025 KNUST Medical and Dental Schools Entrance Exam and Interview will be used to determine the final admission of applicants who applied to study the two programmes.
Applicants for admission into the School of Medical Sciences and the School of Dentistry for the 2024/2025 academic year are to note the following:
There will be an entrance examination and interview for all shortlisted applicants on Monday, 6th January 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
WASSCE candidates who have applied for BSc Human Biology (Medicine) and have an aggregate of 8 or better should check the portal https://app.knust.edu.gh/admissions by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 5th January 2025.
The calculation of the aggregate is based on three core subjects: English Language, Integrated Science, and Mathematics, as well as three elective subjects: Chemistry, Biology, and either Physics or Elective Mathematics, whichever is better.
All Advanced Level (A-Level) applicants who have an aggregate of 08 or better should also check the portal https://app.knust.edu.gh/admissions by 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, 5th January 2025.
Students are to note that only shortlisted applicants will be allowed to write the entrance examination and attend the interview. Candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility from https://app.knust.edu.gh/admissions.
Applicants will be required to pay an entrance examination fee of 350 Ghana cedis.
