WAEC and GES have officially agreed on the date for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The date is officially out. We will also look at the timetable for the exams.
The 2024 BECE will begin on Monday, 8th July, 2024 and end on Friday, 12th July, 2024.
WAEC is yet to release the final timetable for the examination. However, based on the 2023 BECE timetable, we could conclude that WAEC may use the timetable below as its official timetable for the exams.

Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from what is on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
- EXTRA TIME FOR CANDIDATES WITH VISUAL AND HEARING IMPAIRMENT
Candidates with visual and hearing impairments are to be allowed an additional 50% of the time allotted to other candidates.
