2024 BECE Sample Questions released by WAEC: Download Here

WAEC, as part of efforts to help candidates revise for their pending Junior High School exit examination, has released the 2024 BECE sample questions.

The sample questions released are based on the new Common Core Curriculum. For each subject, WAEC has provided sample objective and subjective test questions for candidates.

The Examination will be administered to school candidates in the third year of the Junior High School Education programme. The examination will test the extent to which candidates have covered the content of the teaching curricula approved by the Ministry of Education in Ghana.

Candidates are expected to acquaint themselves thoroughly with the regulations since they form the basis for taking the examination.

The Basic Education Certificate Examination is made up of two components viz, the Continuous Assessment and External Examination. The Continuous Assessment and External Examination will be applicable to all candidates.

The Continuous Assessment forms 30% whilst the External Examination forms 70% of the total
assessment.

2024 BECE Sample Questions released by WAEC and the subjects covered

In all, candidates will be assessed in a maximum of 11 subjects; however, no candidate can write more than 10 subjects and not less than 8 subjects when WAEC administers the 2024 BECE from 8th July to 12th July, 2024.
