Ahead of the 2025 BECE Mathematics paper, scheduled for Monday, June 16th, Ghana Education News has released its 2025 BECE Mathematics projected and confirmed topics, questions, and answers for candidates and Mathematics teachers to use for their revision. The released topics are for Section B of the Mathematics paper. At the end of the post, you can also download sample questions made available for you.

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR ALL 2025 BECE CANDIDATES

Mathematics is an important subject in the BECE. If you fail Mathematics, you will not be placed in any school, even if you secure a grade 1 in all other subjects. A grade 9 is a fail at the BECE, and if you obtain that, you will not be placed, no matter what.

Again, Mathematics is a core subject that has affected many students who did not make good grades in the past. If you do not fail Maths but end up obtaining a weak pass, it will greatly affect your raw score and the school you are finally placed in.

How To Pass The 2025 BECE Mathematics

For Section B, do the following:

Revise and solve sample questions on the topics above.
Show workings and do not miss steps when solving.
Use clear lines and arcs in construction.
Write clearly and avoid messy cancellations.
Answer a maximum of four questions.
Go through your workings and answers at all times.
Work with good speed and maintain accuracy.

For Section A (Objectives):

Solve questions carefully before choosing your answers.
Shade your correct answers well.
If you skip a question on the question paper, also skip the shading space for that same question on the answer sheet.
Always check that the question you are solving corresponds to the answer you are shading on the answer sheet; otherwise, all your subsequent answers will be wrong.
Review your shaded answers.
