There are several international art competitions available for children, providing platforms to showcase their creativity and talent. Parents, teachers,, and schools can take advantage of these competitions to expose their learners to endless international competitions. This will go a long way to help these learners to compete with others internationally and also learn through the process. Some of these competitions award scholarships as prizes and your child could be on his or her way to studying arts and related courses at a younger age in the US, UK, and other parts of the world.

Global Canvas Chyildren’s Art Competition

An annual contest organised by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, encourages young artists to express their concern for the environment and wildlife. The 2025 competition is currently open for entries until February 14, 2025.

BONUS COMPETITION

International Children’s Painting Competition

The International Painting Competition is organized by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Japan-based Foundation for Global Peace and Environment. The Competition is held every year for children between the ages of 6 and 15. Over 300 paintings are selected for prizes, with 7 global winners. The International Children’s Painting competition was sponsored by Bayer AG, and Nikon Corporation, and is supported by The Baum Foundation and the Me1ridian Health Foundation.
