6th Africa Trade Roundtable by USPA Law School and ACCA slated for 24th October: Register to participate
The 6th Africa Trade Roundtable, brought to you by @upsaccra Law School and ACCA comes off on Monday, 24th October 2022 at the Labadi Beach Hotel at 10:00 am sharp.
The roundtable conversation will discuss historical infrastructure challenges such as ports to cross-continental distribution channels, the imperatives of ensuring adequate provision of hard and soft infrastructure that could potentially undermine the smooth implementation of the AfCFTA at the micro level. The roundtable is themed Infrastructure, supply chain systems and the AfCFTA.
This event will therefore discuss among others.
a) the state of infrastructural supply on the continent relative to trade and the adjustments that need to be made to the infrastructural deficits in the short to medium term.
b) the actual potential impact of supply chain challenges to be encountered in the wake of these deficits.
c) whether it is time for African governments to intensify the participation of private sector entities in the provision of public infrastructure and how can this prospect be leveraged as a tool of scalability for trade actors on the continent.
