2025 BECE exam date and timetable projected
The 2025 BECE exam date and timetable has been projected by the Ghana Education News, Ghana;s most credible and reliable education news source.
The West African Examination Council (WAEC) will administer the 2025 BECE for basic 9 students this year in June. The month for the examination was confirmed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the 2024-2025 academic calendar.
This year will be the first time in many years that the Junior High School leaving examination returns to June since Covid-19 strikes.
While WAEC is yet to release the examination timetable and date, past examinations by WAEC for BECE candidates can be used to predict the exam date with a high level of accuracy.
2025 BECE Date Projected By Ghana Education News
This year’s exam is projected to be administered in week 2 of Jube 2025.

The GES and WAEC are expected to update stakeholder with the final date and timetable for the examination before the end of March 2025.
