Dear Sir/Madam,
All teachers who possess a degree qualification are hereby informed to proceed for automatic upgrading. This directive has become necessary, as the degree is now considered the minimum requirement for teaching in Ghana.
All District Directors of Education have been duly informed of this nationwide exercise. Regardless of whether you are due for promotion or not, you are entitled to be upgraded once you hold a degree qualification.
Almost all GNAT representatives across the country have been notified and are tasked with guiding qualified teachers through this process.
Please note: Teachers without a degree certificate are not eligible for this exercise.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
1. Appointment Letter
2. Letter for Upgrading
3. Degree Certificate
4. Cover Page of the Brochure
5. Page Showing Your Name in the Brochure
If your District Director of Education denies your upgrading, claiming you are unqualified despite meeting the requirements, it should be understood as a deliberate decision not to upgrade you.
Thank you.
