NSA raises concern over data mis-match in national service registration

The National Service Authority (NSA) has raised concern over mis-match of details of tertiary institution graduates participating in the ongoing online national service enrolment registration for the 2025/26 batch.
In a statement sighted by GhanaEducation.org, NSA said key among the issues is the inability of some prospective national service personnel to register on the portal due to data mis-match.
“At the moment, the Authority can report that incorrect Date of Birth (DOB) and Name(s) have been identified as the major setback,” it said in the statement dated October 9, 2025.
It has therefore urged prospective personnel to strictly comply with the instructions below:
I. That where the details of a prospective national service personnel, as submitted by his/her tertiary institution, does not match with his/her Ghana Card, the personnel in question MUST swear an affidavit, gazette it, and submitthe same to the school. The school will then forward the details to the Authority to amend its records, thereby allowing the personnel to register.
II. In the event where the details of a prospective national service personnel, as submitted by his/her tertiary institution was wrongly captured by the said tertiary institution, the prospective national service personnel must notify the institution of the error. The tertiary institution shall rectify the error and communicate the same to the Authority.
III. Tertiary institutions should submit corrected details via classlist@nss.gov.gh and copy in tweneboah.kodua@nss.gov.gh
The Authority says it is committed to ensuring that all eligible prospective personnel duly register to undertake their mandatory national service in areas of national priority for national development.
“In case of further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our District and Regional offices for the necessary support. Alternatively, you may please contact our support services at the Head Office,” the NSA has said.
