The Junior Graphic, a national newspaper targeting students in pre-second-cycle schools, has held the 2025 winners’ award ceremony for the Junior Graphic Awards 2025 National Essay Competition. The celebration took place at the Silverbirds Cinema at the Shoprite (Accra Mall) close to the University of Ghana.
Ten students, nine girls and one boy, were honored at the colorful ceremony for their great writing skills in the preliminary and final contests held at the regional offices and national headquarters of Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL).
The Junior Graphic, Ghana’s leading national newspaper for young readers, successfully hosted the 2025 National Essay Competition Awards ceremony. The event, which celebrated the literary achievements of pre-second-cycle students from across the country, was held at the Silverbird Cinemas at the Accra Mall.
The 2025 Junior Graphic National Essay Competition was under the theme “Nurturing Creativity: The Role of Reading and Writing.”

She furthered the discussions on the current issues in Ghana on illegal mining and examination malpractices, which did the magic for her in the finals held in Accra.
