Teacher Posting and Salary Issues Spark Fresh Anger GES’ Facebook Page

Teachers across the country are raising serious concerns about postings, unpaid arrears, and allowance deductions.

The complaints were shared openly under GES’s official Facebook communication on the academic calendar.

Asilevi Justice said newly posted teachers received only one month’s salary despite working for several months.

He claimed arrears appeared during validation but were later reversed without payment.

Abukari Yaminu echoed similar concerns, questioning why released funds are not reaching affected teachers.

He said denying teachers their arrears is unfair and discouraging.

Jim Ackah raised concerns about unpaid arrears for new recruits, asking when those payments will be cleared.

Others highlighted challenges linked to postings.

Thomas Kofi Nti said teachers are posted to remote areas without financial support, yet expected to manage transport and accommodation costs.

Hayford Mensah called for rent allowances instead of delayed housing promises.

He said rising rent costs are consuming teachers’ salaries across the country.

Immanuel Antwi questioned unexplained deductions from data allowances.

He said teachers deserve clear explanations for every deduction made from their salaries.

Samuel Anyan also complained about delayed upgrading, saying he remains on an old rank despite applying over a year ago.
