The Ministry of Health has announced the date and modalities for the start of training for the new health sector recruitment portal training. The training is scheduled for April 14th and 15th, 2026. On Tuesday, 14th April 2026, the In-person training will be held for HR Directors and Agency Heads at the MoH Auditorium. and via Zoom for the Regional Directors and Regional HR Directors.
According to a letter released by the Ghana Health Service dated 10th April, 2026, the MoE disclosed that the same training will be organized on line of 15th April for District Directors, District HR Directors & Health Information Officers.
The training aims at deepening and enhancing transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the recruitment process for the health sector.

INVITATION TO STAKEHOLDER SESSIONS ON THE NEW HEALTH SECTOR RECRUITMENT PORTAL.
The Ministry of Health is decentralizing the recruitment and distribution of health professionals to the district level. This is to deepen and enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in the recruitment process. To achieve this, the ministry has developed a new Recruitment Portal to reflect the current policy priorities.
In view of this, the Ministry is organizing a stakeholder engagement session to introduce the portal, demonstrate its functionalities, and provide guidance on its usage. These sessions will also serve as a platform for feedback and clarification to ensure smooth implementation.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
Participants are kindly requested to ensure punctuality and full participation, and relevant technical officers are encouraged to attend to support effective implementation at all levels.
