Updates on 2021 School placements: Release our 2021 CSSPS School Placements, we are stressed up. It looks as though students are tired of waiting.

While the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Free SHS Secretariat put their efforts into completing the school placement and making it public and accessible on the CSSPS portal, 2021 BECE candidates have taken to various social media pages to call on the GES to 2021 CSSPS School Placements. The students have indicated they are overly stressed waiting for the placements to be released.

The waiting period for the release of the school placements every year is characterized by stress however, the seemingly high failure rate and the call by students and parents for remarking of scripts has worsened the case.

For now, the only information that will ease the stress levels is if the students get an official notification that their 2021 CSSPS School Placements are out.

The Ghana Education Service has indicated that candidates should expect the release of the school placements from March 14th, 2022. This update has made students jittery and anxious, as the wait seems to be too long for them.

The quest to land their preferred school choices and programs has become the most discussed among students with many of them seeking further clarifications whether they will gain admission to their first-choice schools given their aggregates of four core subjects and two electives (English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies and 2 other best-performed subjects of a candidate.)

It is important for students to note that the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) has said the computer school placement previously was done based on a candidate’s raw score, but for this academic year that is not the case. For now, the GES is yet to announce a definite date for the release of the 2021 CSSPS School Placements. Everyone is hopeful that the placements will be released before the end of the week to reduce the stress.
