National Service Personnel impersonates GES D-G, posts over 80 teachers & makes at least GHS400,000

A National Service Personnel who was posted to the Yendi Senior High School has been picked up by the Ghana Police for impersonating the Director-General of education and Northern regional education director and also recruiting more than 80 teachers into the Ghana Education Service.
The NSS personnel whose name has been given as Ziblim Abdul Latif charges unsuspecting victims an amount of, GHS5000 for each posting successfully done. Ziblim Abdul Latif has therefore bagged about GHS400,000 as a result of the illegal posting of teachers using the names of the Director-General and the Northern regional education director.
According to the story, Ziblim Abdul Latif posted most of the over 80 teachers were posted to some 40 schools in the Savelugu Municipality while many of the victims are females.

CRIME ALERT: Ghana Police Service through the efforts of GES of the Northern region have arrested Ziblim Abdul Latif,a National Service Personnel, posted at Yendi Senior High School for impersonating Director-General of education and Northern regional education director to recruit over 80 teaching staff into GES.
The teachers recruited by the alleged imposter are posted to about 40 basic schools in the Savelugu Municipality with majority of the victims being female teachers.

REGISTER YOUR WARD NOWEach recruit has reportedly paid an amount of 5000 Ghana cedis to the imposter for permanent appointment following thorough checks carried out by the human resource department of the Ghana Education Service, Northern Region.
The suspect is currently in the grip of police, pending further investigations and possible prosecution.
