Fresh Update from Fidelity Bank on Mobile App Money Withdrawal Fraud

The Fidelity Bank has released fresh updates on the supposed Banking Mobile App Money Withdrawal Fraud video and audio making rounds. Your reliable source of credible news, Ghana Education News published Fidelity Bank Mobile App Money Withdrawal Fraud (How they do it plus audio) story earlier.

New information to customers by Fidelity Bank on the issue

Our attention has been drawn to an audio and a video circulating on WhatsApp and other social media platforms.

The video captures excerpts of the arrest of some fraudsters who have attempted severally to defraud some bank customers through social engineering. This is similar to mobile money fraud where fraudsters contact individuals and attempt to convince them to give out their PIN, Password, OTP or Date of Birth.

Fidelity’s bank team together with the Ghana Police Service were able to track the activities of these fraudsters and effect their arrest.

Finally, we urge all our customers and the general public not to share their PIN, Password, OTP, or Date of Birth with anyone. Fidelity Bank will never call you to ask for this information.
