Mankessim: Man killed and deposited in front of Police station

On Friday night, October 21, 2022, the body of a man who was probably in his mid-20s was found in front of the Mankessim Police station.

Yaw Boagyan of Accra’s Kasapa FM says that witnesses say the body was dumped off the Mankessim Ajumako highway by three men in a moving car.

Residents of the area say that they don’t know who died.

Some people who saw the man fall out of the moving taxi in front of the police station thought he was crazy at first, but they later found out he was fine.

The people who live there say they couldn’t remember the taxi number where the three men were riding.

The neck of the body was tied with a handkerchief, which is thought to be what they used to squeeze his life out.

The person who died had a bag with a toothbrush, sponge, safety boot, shirt, and a drink called Malta Guinness in it.

Since then, the body of the person who died has been taken to the Saltpond Government Hospital Mortuary, and the Mankessim Police have started looking into the death.
