2022 NSMQ Final: PRESEC, Prempeh & Adisco Head-to-Head, Predicted Winner

The 2022 NSMQ Final contest is here, and Adisadel College showed class to book the final slot for the finals to set a mouth-watering and nail-biting encounter with Prempeh College and Presbyterian Boys, who were finalists in 2021.

This year’s final has been described by many as revenge for Presbyterian Boys who were humbled by Prempeh College in the 2021 finals. Prempeh College will however have other ideas as they come into the grand final as defending champions and will not be mere pushovers.

Lovers of the National Science and Maths Quiz organized by Primetime will be looking forward to the finals, which have always got the needed hype and divided Ghana and the globe into three fan bases for each of the competing finalists.

2022 NSMQ Final: END OF SEMI FINALS SCORE and Presbyterian Boys’ win

Presec Legon entered this year content with revenge on the mind, and they have the chance to birth that revenge, give it life and cause Prempeh College the pain they caused them in the 2021 Finals.
Presec Legon was the runaway winner in their Semi-Final encounter as they gained 51pts while the others such as St James Sem. SHS secured 35pts and Kumasi High School obtained a mere 08pts.
While we wish the Elites and 6-time champions PRESEC congratulations on progressing to the grand finale, they have proven beyond reasonable doubt that they continue to make great strides in NSMQ History! The ODADE3 boys are eying the 7th Trophy and record no school has attained since they set their 6th title record in 2020.

PRESEC, Prempeh & Adisco Head-to-Head

Prempeh College was the first-ever winner of the NSMQ in 1994 and is the defending champion in the 2022 finals. They won the competition in 1994, 1996, 2015, 2017, and 2021. They would want to successfully defend their 2021 title and equal Presby Boys’ 6 trophy record.
Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon has won the title enviable for 6 times and is the only school to have attained that feat. Their first victory came in the second edition of the NSMQ in 1995 whiles their most recent victory was in 2020. They won the competition in 1995,2003, 2006,2008,2009, and 2022.
They are the only school to have won the competition back to back in 2008 and 2009 and this is a feat Prempeh would equal as well if they can cause a big upset and silence the Presec boys again. Adisadel College will come into the competition as the underdogs have won the competition just once in 2016.
2022 NSMQ Final: PRESEC, Prempeh & Adisco Head-to-Head, Predicted Winner

Predicted Winner of the #NSMQ2022

The odds favour Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Legon to annex the enviable winner’s trophy this year and cause some pain and dissatisfaction among the Prempeh lads. A win by Adisadel College is very slim, while that of Prempeh College is a 35% chance. The final scores of the three SEMI finals will repeat themselves in the finals in that order, thus we expect Pressec to humble Prempeh College and Adisadel College, which are both from Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
