GES launches Safe Schools Logo Challenge: Read full details here

The Ghana Education Service (GES) GES launches Safe Schools Logo Challenge and has called on parents, teachers, and schools to encourage their wards or students to participate. In a Tweet by the GES sighted by Ghana Education News, the GES outlined the requirements for participating in the GES Safe Schools Logo Challenge.
This competition is in partnership with UNICEF-Ghana under the theme “Safe Schools: A shared responsibility”
According to the GES publication which announced the competition, students at the Upper Primary, Junior High School, and Senior High School are eligible to participate in the competition.
The various group of students who want to participate have different closing dates for the submission of entries.
School-level participants are to submit their entries by 30th November 2022.
Districts will be required to submit their entries by 7th December 2022

The Safe Schools Logo Challenge Winners Prizes
The ultimate winner goes home with a laptop, a cash prize, a plaque, products from sponsors, and a tour of some of the regions in Ghana.
The guidelines for the GES Safe Schools Logo Challenge
All those interested in the competition must follow the following guidelines
- The artwork must be on an A4 size paper.
- The artwork must have a 1 Cm margin on all sides of the A-4 paper.
- The artwork must not have more than three colours.
- The artwork must be endorsed by a parent or a teacher before it is submitted as an entry for the GES Safe Schools Logo Challenge.

The concept that must be reflected in the Safe Schools Logo Challenge
All artworks submitted for the competition must reflect the following.
- The theme: Safe schools: A shared responsibility.
- Gender sensitivity
- Inclusivity (People with special needs)
- Respect, Tolerance, Honesty, Freedom, Discipline and Peace, Understanding, Unity, and their Ghanaian identity.
Applicants must also ensure they provide a detailed paragraph that explains the concept captured in the artwork, the colours used, and the meaning, shapes, and other elements of design employed in the logo design.
