Davido and Chioma's Son Ifeanyi Is Dead
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who is in charge of public relations for the Lagos State Police, has said that Ifeanyi Adeleke, Davido’s three-year-old son, has died.
In a phone call, the PPRO said that eight people were brought in after the incident to be questioned and that after a thorough investigation, anyone found to be responsible for the child’s death would be arrested.
“Yes, the child really is dead. We questioned about eight people and are still looking into what happened. “Anyone who is found to be responsible for the child’s death will be arrested,” a police spokesman said.
Ghanaeducation.org heard that the child drowned in a pool at his father’s house in Banana Island on Monday, while his parents, Davido and Chioma Rowlands, were at a family gathering in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Also, it was said that a lot of people who were at Davido’s house when the incident happened were taken to a police station to be questioned.
It was said that the singer, who couldn’t stop crying, was taken from the hospital where his son died to his father’s house.
Since then, Nigerians have been praying for the family on their social media accounts.
The news of Ifeanyi’s death spread on social media hours ago, but neither Davido nor anyone from his team has said anything about it yet.
Eniola Badmus, a well-known Nigerian actress and a close friend of the singer, wrote in a post that has since been taken down that the boy had died.
